This project features a 1200 sq ft ground-up ADU designed to provide a full-size living experience within a compact, efficient footprint. The unit includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms, making it ideal for long-term rental, multi-generational living, or extended family use. The design focuses on smart space planning, natural light, and a modern yet practical exterior that fits seamlessly into a Los Angeles residential setting. Every square foot was intentionally designed to feel open, comfortable, and functional, without overbuilding or unnecessary complexity. The ADU was delivered as a complete, move-in-ready unit, handled end-to-end from planning and permits through construction and final completion.
This 1200 sq ft accessory dwelling unit was designed and built as a fully independent living space, offering a comfortable two-bedroom, two-bathroom layout within a single-story ADU footprint. The goal of the project was to create a functional, well-balanced unit that feels spacious, practical, and suitable for long-term living.
The layout prioritizes privacy between bedrooms, efficient circulation, and natural light throughout the home. The exterior design remains modern and understated, allowing the ADU to integrate naturally into a Los Angeles residential property without feeling oversized or out of place.
From planning and permitting through construction and final delivery, the project was completed as a full-service ADU build, resulting in a move-in-ready unit designed for rental use, extended family, or flexible living needs.
The ADU Group handled everything from start to finish, which made the process much easier than we expected. The 1200 sq ft layout with two bedrooms and two bathrooms feels spacious and well planned, and the quality of the build really shows.
